Thanksgiving week!

Hi there,
It's been a little while since I have had a chance to write.  My 8 year old has been very sick and we are still looking for answers.  She has been through a battery of tests, and will have more to come.  Meanwhile, my life is pretty much on hold with needing to care for her, be there to help her get caught up on school work she has been missing, and trying to keep some of this house running relatively normally.  Everyone in the house is overtired and stressed-out worrying about her.
I have been trying to get a couple of needle felted projects done, but nothing new finished yet.  I am working on a Swedish Dala horse, and a ball ornament with snowflakes on it.  Both are looking really good but I don't know when I'll be able to finish them.
Due to my daughter being ill, she and I will be staying home on Thanksgiving day, and my husband will be taking the other four kids to my dad's on Cape Cod.   It's a 3 hour drive and I know my daughter would not make that ride.  The other side of the family is having Thanksgiving together here in town, so we will probably plug into that gathering.  Then we are planning on starting to get out Christmas decorations!  I love the holidays and decorating.  I have a collection of angels and a village scene that are my favorite this to set up.
Well, off to get her to bed for a nap.  She only made 2 hours of school today before her belly hurt to much to focus on her work.  I hope a rest helps!

I am thankful for everyone in my life, family, friends, and neighbors.  Our family is truly blessed!  I hope one and all has a wonderful holiday!!
